The following
terms and conditions govern all use of the http://niryatbandhu.iift.ac.in
and http://campus360.iift.ac.in websites ("Site") and all
content, services and courseware available on the Site,
including, but not limited to, the user area (collectively
referred to as the Site).
1.
Termination Policy & Rules of Conduct
1.1. User accounts; account termination policy. We
expect to add a feature allowing you to register with the Site
and establish an account. If you register, you agree to provide
accurate and complete information when creating or updating your
account. You are solely responsible for the activity that occurs
on your account, and you must keep your account password secure.
You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of
your account or other breach of security. You may not use
another’s account without permission. We will terminate your
account in appropriate circumstances if you are determined to be
a repeat infringer. We also may terminate your account if you
violate any provision of these Terms of Use or fail to comply
with our requests concerning your account.
1.2. User submissions and rules of conduct. Account
holders will be able to participate in online discussion forums
and to submit or post comments, profiles and/or other content on
the Site (collectively, “User Content”). You are solely
responsible for any User Content you post or submit to the Site,
and for the consequences of posting or submitting it. By posting
or submitting User Content to the Site, you grant us a
nonexclusive, worldwide, irrevocable, fully paid, perpetual
license to use, reproduce, prepare derivative works of,
distribute, display, perform, and otherwise make available your
User Content in connection with the Site and for our broader
educational purposes, including without limitation for promoting
or redistributing part or all of the Site (and derivative works
thereof) in any manner or media, and to authorize others to do
the foregoing. By posting or submitting User Content to the
Site, you represent and warrant that you have the right to grant
us the foregoing rights, and that neither your User Content nor
our use of it as permitted under the foregoing license will
infringe or violate anyone’s rights. You agree not to submit or
post any content, or engage in any other activity in connection
with the Site, that:

Infringes anyone’s copyright, patent, trademark or other
proprietary rights, or rights of privacy or publicity

Violates any law or regulation

Is intentionally false or misleading

Defames, threatens, or harasses anyone

Is harmful, dangerous, abusive, or offensive

Contains or utilizes any computer virus, other malicious
code, or program that may damage or interfere with the
operation of any system, or may unlawfully intercept any
data or personal information

Contains or consists of advertising or any form of
commercial solicitation or activity

Otherwise interferes with the functioning of the Site or
other users’ use or enjoyment of the Site
1.3. Removal of User Contents: Although we will have no
obligation to monitor or take action with respect to User
Content, we reserve the right to remove any User Content that we
believe violates the above standards or any other provision of
these Terms of Use, and to terminate the applicable user’s
account and right to use the Site, in addition to any other
rights or remedies available to us. We do not approve or endorse
any User Content, and you agree that we will have no
responsibility or liability in connection with your use of any
User Content.
2. Terms &
Conditions to use Webisodes / Contents
2.1.
Copyright and other protection. The Site and the
video material, audio material, text, images, graphics and other
content available on the Site (collectively, the “Content”) are
protected by copyright, trademark and other laws. The Content
consists in part of a series of videos (“Webisodes” or “Recorded
Sessions”) of Indian Institute of Foreign Trade courses (or the
“Course Videos”). We own the copyright and other rights in the
Site and the Content. You may use the Site and the Content only
in the manner and for the purposes specified in these Terms of
Use.
2.2.
Use of the Site and Content—permissions and restrictions. You
may only make noncommercial uses of the Site and the Content.
You may refer the Course Videos ONLY as “Streaming Videos” for
your own personal use.
2.3.
Infringement Webisode Law. Webisodes are copyrighted
materials usually uploaded for reference purpose. As mentioned
above these should only be referred as “Streaming Videos” and
directly downloading it and distributing it is illegal and
termed as “Infringement Webisode Law”.
2.4.
Webisode Removal-User Termination. We have taken all
measures to monitor the illegal usage and download of Course
Videos and IIFT holds all rights to terminate such users if more
users then the websiodes will be removed for the users or for
the entire batch immediately from the portal for the smooth
functioning of other features of the Portal.
2.5.
Program Pacakage Deliverables: Courseware such as
Course material in Powerpoint slides, case studies,
Business-Plan assistance, Useful documents, etc are the
deliverables from this program. IIFT uploads Webisodes only for
reference purpose and that too for the Users who happen to miss
a particular session due to inevitable reasons. It is,
certainly, not included in Program Package and claiming it as
User’s right is austerely unwarranted. The program fee, as
mentioned in Portal too, is only for Online Certificates and
Live sessions.
2.6.
Courseware Retransmission: You may not retransmit,
publish, distribute, display or otherwise make available any of
the Course Videos or other Content to others.
2.7.
Video Copyright Encroachment: In no event may you
alter or modify the Course Videos or any other Content,
including, without limitation, by adding any advertisement or
other material or by interfering with the viewing of any
Content. You agree to retain all copyright and other notices on
any Content you obtain from the Site.
2.8.
Fair use and other lawful uses. Nothing in Section
above is intended to restrict you from making uses of Course
Videos that, in the absence of permission granted under these
Terms of Use, would not infringe or violate IIFT’s or anyone
else’s copyright, trademark, or other rights.
2.9.
Reserved rights; no violation of law or others’ rights. All
rights in the Site and the Content that are not expressly
granted are reserved. You agree to use the Site and the Content
only in ways that comply with all applicable laws, as well as
with these Terms of Use, and that do not infringe or violate
anyone’s rights.
2.10. Trademarks:
Nothing in these Terms of Use or on the Site will be construed
as granting you any right or license to use any trademarks,
service marks, or logos displayed on the Site. You agree not to
use or register any name, logo, or insignia of IIFT or any of
its subdivisions for any purpose except with our prior written
approval and in accordance with any restrictions required by us.

3. Evaluation Summary
3.1. Evaluation Components
There are three evaluation
components: Starter Quiz after fifth session, Mid-Term
Examination after tenth session and End-Term
Examination, as the name suggests after twentieth
session.

3.3. Certification Awarding Criteria
1.
Minimum Passing Percentage(MPP) is 50
2.
Two kinds of Certificate will be awarded: “Successfully
Completed” and “Attended”
3.
Everyone who enrolled and attended at least five
sessions (out of total 20 sessions) appear would get
“Attended” irrespective of fulfilling MPP criteria
4.
Successful participant without B-Plan submission would
be awarded “Attended” certificate
3.4. Business Plan
3.4. 1.
Besides the above mentioned three evaluation components,
students need to prepare a Business Plan for their
products
3.4.2.
It’s mandatory to submit B-Plan to complete the
evaluation process and those who have not submitted
their Business-Plan will be awarded "Certification of
Attended" irrespective of their percentages in other
components.
3.4.3.
It carries no Evaluation Weightage but carries letter
grades as “A”, “B” and “C”

4. Import-Export Code (IEC) Related
4.1. IIFT has no role to play in obtaining IEC
and for any IEC related queries should directly be
mailed to DGFT
4.2. IIFT has recently started to offer
admission to Non-IEC holder only to encourage the
budding entrepreneurs. However such participants are
encouraged to obtain
IEC before the completion of
the Program. Failing which, the participants
will be awarded "Certification of Attended" irrespective
of their percentages in
other components. |
